1.What is HAAD exam?

The exam conducted for medical professionals in order to obtain licensing in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi in UAE is called HAAD exam.

2.What is the experience required for HAAD examination?

A candidate attending the HAAD examination requires minimum two years work experience and it is mandatory that the experience should be obtained after registration.

3.Can you provide information about the experience gap accepted for HAAD exam?

A maximum experience gap of two years is accepted for HAAD exam.

4.What procedures are required for processing if the experience gap is above two years?

The candidate should upload the scanned copy of his/her CME (Continuous Medical Education) Certificate if he/she has an experience gap of more than two years.

5.What is the total duration of HAAD exam?

The total duration of HAAD exam is three hours.

The Data Flow process is the primary procedure in HAAD exam. Data Flow is the certificate verification process to check whether all the certificates uploaded by the candidate are genuine or not. The authorities will also verify whether the candidate has worked for the specified period.

9.What are the differences between DHA exam and HAAD exam processes?

In the case of DHA examination, the candidate can book the exam date after getting the credential approval and submitting the necessary documents needed for Data Flow. But in the case of HAAD exam, the candidate can book the exam date only after receiving the results of Data Flow and completing the Credentialing process.

10.What is Credentialing in HAAD exam?

Credentialing is the process to check whether the candidate has attained all requirements according to PQR (Personal Qualification Requirements). The details like experience requirements and registration are checked in credentialing.

11.Can you explain in detail about the exam booking procedures for HAAD exam?

After completing the Data Flow and Credentialing procedures, the candidate will get the approval for the exam. The exam dates are provided by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi. The available exam dates can be seen in the candidate’s application. The test taker can select the dates accordingly.

12.How much time does it take for Credentialing process?

It takes a minimum of 15 working days for credentialing process.

13.What is Good Standing Certificate?

All medical Professionals attending the HAAD exam need to provide a certificate from their respective registered medical council. This is called Good Standing Certificate and it has a validity of 6 months.

13.Is HAAD exam conducted directly by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi?

The HAAD exam is conducted by an Exam Hosting Company called Pearson VUE which is authorized by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi.

14.What do you mean by BLS Card required for HAAD exam?

BLS (Basic Life Support) is a one-day course conducted in centres approved by the American Heart Association. BLS card is obtained after completing the course. It is mandatory for all doctors and nursing professionals attending the HAAD exam.

15.Is it possible to work outside the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for a candidate who passed the HAAD exam?

If a candidate has passed the HAAD exam; after working in Abu Dhabi for six months, he/she can convert to DHA or MOH licence without attending the DHA / MOH exam.

16.Is it possible for converting the HAAD exam Data Flow to DHA / MOH?

Yes, it is possible to convert the data flow procedures from HAAD to DHA / MOH. After completing the data flow and credentialing process, the candidate should take the required test (DHA/MOH).

17.How many times can a candidate attend the HAAD exam?

A candidate can attend the HAAD examination three times in his/her lifetime.

18.Is there any age limit for attending the HAAD exam?

No, there is no age limit for attending the HAAD exam.
